Surgical Technologist; PRN

Mountain West Surgery Center, managed by Enterprise Healthcare Resources, is growing and we are looking for an experienced, certified Surgical Technologist to grow with us in our El Paso facility!

Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room and sterile field for surgical procedures by ensuring that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely; by preparing sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment using sterile technique; anticipating the needs of the surgical team based on knowledge of human anatomy and pathophysiology and how they relate to the surgical patient and the patient’s procedure.

Requirements

• Must have experience in Ortho/Spine.
• Graduate of a program for surgical technology required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in surgical setting required.
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
