Del Sol Medical Center invites applications for a Physical Therapist - Rehab position.

Do you wish to pursue a PRN, part‑time role at a leading healthcare provider such as HCA Healthcare? This opportunity offers flexible scheduling within a large acute‑care setting.

Evaluates and treats patients with movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease or other health‑related conditions. Treats disorders with physical agents and methods to restore normal function after illness or injury.

• Performs assessments and re‑assessments according to unit policy and professional standards, collecting accurate subjective and objective data, documenting needs and discharge planning.
• Treats patients by selecting and applying appropriate physical therapy techniques, procedures, exercises, and modalities, modifying treatment programs to maximize progress.
• Completes documentation on the same day that treatment was rendered; ensures accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
• Directs the activities of PTAs, PT technicians, students and volunteers, ensuring correct treatment plans and documentation.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on patient status, discharge plans, equipment needs, and referrals.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement and program development, including data gathering, chart reviews, and implementation of quality actions.
• Complies with department policy, safety/infection control, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory standards (e.g., JACHO, Medicare, CARF).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy examiners.
• BCLS.

• MA in Physical Therapy or DPT preferred.

• DPT preferred.
• Functional knowledge of Spanish language recommended.
