pThe Senior Controller directs financial aspects of the cash management function, including the development and management of systems for the effective collection of revenues and payment of obligations. The Senior Controller is also responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure designated cash processing, reconciliation, and reporting functions. Key Measures of Success include:/p

li Reviews and drives improvements in cash management, ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with Company policies./li
li Successfully direct cash management operations to include daily cash administration, management of current accounts./li

Key Responsibilities:

ul
li Directly supervises 5-7 employees in the Accounting department, including a combination of exempt and non-exempt employees, and also manages the relationship with any contracted support staff./li
li Collaborates with executive leadership to create and establish major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the company./li
li Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve financial performance through modifications to existing corporate programs./li
li Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations./li
li Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification./li
li Provides management with timely reviews of the organizations financial status and progress in its various programs and activities./li
li Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets./li
li Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions./li
li Arranges for audits of companys accounts./li
li Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies and oversees reports prepared by team./li
li Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate audits./li
li Oversee financial systems, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency./li
li Maintains and creates SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) applicable to the Accounting function./li
