Senior PLC-Control Engineer

BEPC Mexico, a division of BEPC Incorporated, provides and manages consulting services for Automotive and Medical device companies throughout Mexico and around the globe.

We are seeking a Senior PLC-Control Engineer with strong experience in PLC programming and automation systems integration, ideally within the medical device industry. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automated equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems for automated equipment.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Integrate vision systems and sensors into automation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and validation.
• Support equipment validation and documentation in compliance with medical industry standards.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
• Provide support and training to maintenance and operations teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in the medical device sector.
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work on a 2–3 month fixed-term contract.
• Authorized to work in the location where the position is posted. Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid TN Visa.
