Costs Engineering Manager
Manufacturing Company has a position open for a Costs Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities- Candidate will manage coordination of engineering projects.
- Lead and manage the inventory control team.
- Coordinate tasks of projects.
- Develop project budgets and cost plans.
- Analyze and evaluate project costs, performing cost forecasting and analysis to track project performance.
- Provide cost engineering expertise and guidance.
- Review and approve cost estimates, change orders and invoices.
- Maintain cost databases.
- Identify and implement cost saving initiatives.
- Evaluate supplier quotes.
- Conduct/review cost analysis.
- Assist in preparing company budgets.
- Coordinate with sales team to prepare client estimates and bids.
- Assess a project's cost effectiveness and profitability.
- Develop and maintain records and documentation of production costs.
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering as well as five years experience in industrial engineering positions.
- Continuous improvement training required.
