Overview
The Texas Department of State Health Services is hiring a Regional Medical Director. This is a full-time, on-site position and the physician must reside in or be willing to move to El Paso, Texas. All applicants MUST apply through the Career Center.
Responsibilities- Coordinating activities with county local public health departments.
- Leading public health activities in counties without a local health department.
- Serving as the lead physician and regional administrator for public health services provided to West Texas.
The salary range is $15,037.75 - $19,333.33 per month based on qualifications and experience.
QualificationsThis position requires a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas, or the ability to obtain such licensing in a timely fashion.
