This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in El Paso, TX, for an Architectural Project Manager. The individual will oversee and coordinate architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring that designs meet clients’ needs, regulations, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with consultants, facilitating submittals, and ensuring environmental and sustainability compliance. The role also entails collaboration with internal teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to deliver projects on time and as envisioned.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all project phases from initial programming and schematic design through construction administration.
- Act as the primary bridge between the firm, the client, and various sub‑consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain strict oversight of project financials and timelines, ensuring every deliverable meets MNK’s high standards.
- Coordinate internal design teams and mentor junior staff to foster professional growth.
- 10+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Demonstrated experience managing at least 5 projects with a construction value of $7 million or more.
- Must be a Licensed Architect or currently and actively pursuing professional licensure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable leading meetings with clients, boards, and city officials.
- Extensive experience managing and communicating directly with sub‑consultants and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Experience with various delivery methods, including Design‑Build and CSP.
- A background or interest in marketing and business development is desirable to assist with firm growth and proposal efforts.
- Project budgeting experience is desirable.
