What does a Customer Service Representative do?

As a Customer Service Representative at HME Specialists, you will play a vital role in delivering top‑notch service to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, gathering accurate patient demographic information, verifying insurance benefits, and obtaining necessary authorizations. You will ensure that the intake process is completed flawlessly for clean claim submissions. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team on Invasive Vent setups, handle customer orders, determine service charges, and document any complaints or equipment failures.

Your excellent communication skills will come into play as you address dissatisfied customers, coordinate complaint resolutions, and liaise with various stakeholders for timely discharges. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you log important information into our systems and validate its completeness and accuracy.
