We are adding Superintendents to our Kiewit Building Group to support our growing project portfolio around the country. As an Superintendent for us, you will lead and supervise all aspects of these advanced technologies projects and industrial EPC construction projects. We are looking for Superintendents in all disciplines (Electrical, MEP, Civil, Structural). In this role your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Perform daily inspections of work for Safety, Quality and Productivity with our subcontract and trade partners for Industrial Buildings. Assure proper planning and communication is happening for all operations that you oversee. Identify and solve problems that arise. Establish budgetary guidelines for the job and ensure that cost control measures are being followed. Provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel.

Establish quality standards of all jobs and ensure that all quality assurance and company standards are being met. Develop and manage job schedules (e.g. three-week, 90-day, man loading), coordinate work with other crafts, departments, contractors and suppliers.

Kiewit Building Group specializes in constructing office buildings, industrial complexes, education and sports facilities, hotels, hospitals, transportation terminals, science and technology facilities, manufacturing, retail and special‑use facilities and extensive interior construction with tenant improvements. The initial project location will be in the El Paso Texas/Santa Teresa New Mexico area. We provide relocation to the project or per diem/trips home options. You must be willing to work at the site full time for the duration of the project.

• Provide supervisory direction of craft personnel via internal or external general foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence
• Act asliaison between field engineering and project craft to ensure compliance of construction drawings and specifications
• Coordinate and interface effectively with other superintendents and subcontractors, as well as Kiewit staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
• Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non‑harassment and nondiscrimination policies
