We are seeking an experienced Onsite Construction Manager to oversee the onsite construction of data centers performed by colocation providers. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are managed effectively to meet schedule, quality, and design requirements. Our team of project managers, commissioning experts, and construction specialists collaborates to deliver state‑of‑the‑art data center facilities, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

• Project Oversight:
  Provide onsite presence for the construction of major data centers by colocation providers, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Schedule Management:
  Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with providers to ensure timely delivery of milestones and validating schedules against field progress.
• Risk Evaluation:
  Independently analyze projects to evaluate risk profiles, address gaps in risk identification and mitigation, and inform the business of potential impacts.
• Tenant Fit‑Out Integration:
  Work closely throughout design, construction, and commissioning to fully coordinate and integrate tenant fit‑out projects with the DCIB teams.
• Quality Assurance:
  Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards, bringing concerns to the business as identified.
• Design Coordination:
  Collaborate with design teams to ensure construction activities align with approved plans and specifications.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers, facilitating clear communication and decision making.
• Risk Management:
  
  Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Compliance:
  Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement.
• Onsite Presence:
  Maintain a physical onsite presence between 50‑100 % of the time depending on project demands; projects may be international.

• Building Construction Knowledge:
  Strong knowledge of base building data center construction, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing.
• Commissioning Expertise:
  Proven experience managing the startup and commissioning phases of data center projects.
• Problem‑Solving:
  Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Understanding of data center design, construction, and operational requirements with a focus on cutting‑edge technologies and sustainability.
• Project Management:
  Demonstrated expertise in managing data center construction projects, ensuring timely and within‑budget delivery.
• Leadership:
  Ability to lead under pressure, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of construction and design professionals.
• Budget Management:
  Proficiency in creating, managing, and optimizing project budgets for cost‑effective resource use.
• Financial Review:
  Experience with invoice review, approvals and change order management.
• Risk Management:
  
  Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Vendor Management:
  Experience selecting, negotiating and managing contracts with external vendors, contractors and suppliers.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  In‑depth knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center or colocation infrastructure.
