We are partnering with a reputable construction company in the El Paso market to identify an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up and complex commercial projects from start through completion.
This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who takes ownership of the jobsite, drives schedules, and consistently delivers high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial construction projects
- Manage daily field operations, jobsite logistics, and construction sequencing
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and local authorities
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a strong jobsite safety culture
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and building codes
- Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field issues
- Conduct quality control inspections and manage punch lists
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and project teams
- Participate in preconstruction planning and constructability reviews
- Manage project closeout activities and turnover
- 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Proven experience with ground-up and/or large-scale commercial builds
- Experience across sectors such as:
- Office
- Retail
- Industrial
- Healthcare
- Hospitality
- Education
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing and means & methods
- OSHA certification preferred
