Job Description
- Proven experience as a construction estimator, with specific experience in industrial/commercial construction
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy Bid, Plan Swift) and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation, negotiation, and presentations.
- Ability to visit construction sites, which may involve climbing stairs and ladders, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
The role typically involves a mix of office work and on-site visits, with a standard full-time schedule that may require overtime during busy bidding periods.
