Job SummaryThe General Manager for Mas Tex is responsible for overseeing and aligning all operational, sales, and purchasing functions to drive revenue, manage inventory effectively, and ensure long-term profitability. This role plays a critical part in analyzing sales trends, evaluating inventory turnover, and collaborating with Sales and Purchasing to forecast, plan, and execute strategic budgets. Success in this position requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a performance-driven mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, analyze, and guide sales activity to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Collaborate closely with the Sales team to identify trends, set goals, and create action plans for continuous revenue growth.
- Continuously evaluate inventory levels to ensure alignment with sales demand and minimize overstock or stockouts
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Purchasing teams to develop and operate sales and purchasing budgets, ensure on‑time inventory replenishment, and adjust buying plans based on sales trends and projections.
- Set and track performance metrics (KPI) across departments to ensure goals are met
- Drive revenue growth through operational efficiency, strategic planning, and strong vendor/customer relationships
- Monitor financial performance, including gross margins, expenses, and ROI on purchasing decisions. Take proactive steps to meet or exceed profit goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and customers. Represent the company in high‑level negotiations and business development opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to support growth, operational improvements, and customer retention.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations across departments, ensuring smooth workflow, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate reporting and data tracking to support decision‑making at all levels.
