Job Overview
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift in El Paso, TX. The hours are Monday‑Friday from 4 pm – 12:45 am. The expected annual salary range is $86,000 – $126,000. This position also qualifies for a variable incentive program.
What You’ll DoThe Production Supervisor is responsible for creating an environment in which employees become involved, responsible, and self‑motivated. This role will drive Continuous Improvement activities, execute processes that provide quality products, administer organization policies, support all plant objectives, and follow up on training plans for team members. You will drive processes in the department through Eaton Business Systems, assist plant leadership in developing processes to achieve a zero‑incident culture, maximize output, maintain machinery, reduce overall costs, and exceed customer expectations.
InThis Function:
You Will Operational Efficiency
• Utilize the Tier Meeting process to track and assess key operational metrics and implement actions to improve performance.
• Direct day‑to‑day production activities, including manpower movement, job assignments, time/attendance/vacation data, and workload pulling to meet customer needs.
• Lead or champion EBS Pull (needle mover) or other main business projects to meet objectives.
• Deploy EBS functional initiatives: CIF (Continuous Improvement Framework), EQMS (Quality), ELSS (LEAN), and others.
Team Engagement and Development• Establish and maintain a positive, engaged employee team sentiment through Eaton’s Leadership Attributes and aspirational goals.
• Follow up on training and development of hourly team members; provide coaching and oversight; define expectations; give positive reinforcement and counseling.
• Document disciplinary actions for safety rule violations.
• Champion a safety culture using MESH tools and best practices.
• Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and correct contributing factors.
Inform department employees on policy, problem resolution, objectives, and quality issues.
Administrative Oversight• Control and manage overtime, tools, and budgets within guidelines.
• Manage payroll, attendance, performance reviews, and other administrative needs timely and accurately.
• Document workforce and safety performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing or Operations.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing/supervising teams.
- No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefit will be provided; candidates must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX (active‑Duty Military Service members exempt).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- 3–5 years of experience managing a team.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations or manufacturing.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Six Sigma Belt / LEAN Certification.
