A well-established, privately held transportation & logistics organization is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone strong in general ledger, month‑end close, and journal entries who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, stable environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support month‑end close and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Analyze revenue & expenses to identify trends and variances
• Audit transactions, invoices, and supporting documentation
• Ensure GAAP compliance and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with financial reporting, P&L tracking, and special projects

What We’re Looking For:

• Accounting experience with strong GL and month‑end exposure
• Solid Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (not required)
• Experience with GAAP and corporate accounting principles
