We're looking for a detail-driven Accounting Assistant or Accountant to manage billing, collections, and tenant accounts. You will ensure the tenant ledgers and cash balances in the financial system stay current on a daily basis.
What You'll Do- Record, research, and balance daily receipts.
- Respond to tenant inquiries related to payments.
- Work with the operations team to monitor aging balances.
- Perform tenant billing for specialized tenants.
- Prepare monthly statements and resolve billing questions with clear documentation.
- Audit lease terms and system terms to ensure they are consistent.
- Assist with month end bank reconciliation process.
- Assist with month end close
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of property management or receivables work experience
- Proficiency with Yardi desirable, or other ERP system.
- Excellent attention to detail, written communication, and follow-up.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Team-oriented, organized, and proactive.
