Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage) - T2910. Starting hourly rate: $18.50 USD per hour.

At Target, General Merchandise Experts enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They support inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas, conduct inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance, pricing processes, and assist with pick, pack, and ship fulfillment tasks to help guests achieve their goals.

We are looking for candidates who are energized by a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and are willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to resolve questions and service needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize backroom, set up merchandise, and place promotional signage for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment for moving merchandise or store fixtures where certified.
• Change prices, set up and maintain merchandise, and perform inventory accuracy tasks as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures impact inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws and policies.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible schedule and reliable attendance; may work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Mobility required for entire shift length; job may involve Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
