Starting Hourly Rate: $18.50 USD per hour

ALL ABOUT ON DEMANDYou can work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. As an On‑Demand Team Member you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by store leaders or other team members through the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable, prompt attendance and active engagement are required. You must pick up and work shifts at least once every four weeks (minimum of four hours) and respond to attempts to contact you.
If you do not work at least one shift within five months, your employment will be administratively terminated.
Advocate of guest experience by welcoming guests, thanking them, and exceeding service expectations. Focus on loyalty enrollment, store cleanliness, and enabling quick, easy service at the check‑lanes, gift registry, pickup, and drive‑up. Empower guests to use Target’s digital services and keep them informed of current and upcoming benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs in a welcoming way.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available throughout the store and within your area to answer questions and improve the guest experience.
- Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
- Inform guests of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
- Explain Target Loyalty program benefits to every guest and assist with application or sign‑up as needed.
- Show guests how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
- Attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with immediate leaders as needed.
- Partner with leaders to de‑escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience.
- Deliver accurate service to all Order Pick‑Up, Drive‑Up, and Registry guests.
- Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area (including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers).
- Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Work safely at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards.
- Support guest services such as Order Pick‑Up (OPU), Drive‑Up (DU) Orders, DU Returns, and maintain compliance with adult beverage laws.
- Support Cash Office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
- Perform all other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting and helping others—including guests who shop our store and fellow team members.
- You thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving are key to success.
- You are open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays).
