Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to own SQF systems and audit readiness on-site for a food manufacturing facility in the San Gabriel Valley.
This role focuses on SQF system ownership, documentation review, and audit execution, and will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, and verifying records and maintaining compliance.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary SQF practitioner and audit owner
- Maintain SQF systems, audit readiness, corrective actions, and follow-up
- Collect, review, and verify food safety and quality records
- Ensure GMP, production, and sanitation documentation meets SQF and regulatory requirements
- Support root cause analysis, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with operations while remaining accountable for compliance
- Demonstrated experience owning or leading SQF audits
- Strong experience reviewing and verifying food safety and quality documentation
- Experience in a refrigerated foods manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate independently with full compliance accountability
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 per year, depending on experience
- Full-time, on-site only
- No relocation assistance available
