About us

CBC Education, Inc. has been providing services to individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities since 2002. We pride ourselves on making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. We create a supportive environment, where we can both learn and have fun at the same time. We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Services), DIR/Floortime and Social Skills Training to infants, school-aged children, teens, and adults.

We serve individuals from all different backgrounds, and our team is equally diverse.

We are currently looking for qualified applicants to fill our part-time Social Skills Specialist positions. The successful candidate will teach social skills to children, teens and young adults in the home, center or community. The candidate will teach functional life skills to clients in a group setting or one on one. Must be able to work independently, adapt to client and family needs, demonstrate empathy and be able to uphold professional boundaries.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Psychology or related field required
  • 1-year experience working with children preferred but not required
  • Be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week (Monday – Friday between the hours of 2pm - 8pm and Saturdays between the hours of 8am - 6pm)
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin)
  • Valid Driver's license, car insurance, and personal vehicle for means of transportation.
  • Be willing to drive to clients homes within a 25 mile radius from our El Monte Office.
  • Daily access to computer & internet
