Job Description
Seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within the construction industry. This role requires a proactive individual who can provide strategic financial insights and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL, job cost accounting, and revenue recognition.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management. Skills Required
BA in accounting or finance. 5+ yrs of progressive accounting exp, preferably in the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and cost accounting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage others.

Skills Preferred
CPA or CMA preferred. Vista by Viewpoint construction contractor accounting software is a plus.
