Our Car Wash / Valets create the first and last impression for our guests. From moving vehicles smoothly, safely, and efficiently, Valets represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner. A large part of your role will be to enhance the Longo guest experience. Our ideal candidate is energetic, self‑motivated, a team player, has excellent communication skills, and approaches every task with a positive attitude.

This is a Full‑Time entry‑level position with a chance to learn about the automotive industry. At Longo, the opportunities are endless, and you can be promoted from within into roles such as a Service Consultant, Service Technician, Sales Consultant, and many more.

The Car Wash Valet has a pay scale with a base hourly rate of $18.00. The position is 100% on site at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA.

• Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and  in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Ensure all vehicles in the service parking lot are secured.
• Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot.
• Help maintain a professional appearance of the service department.
• Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been incurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department.
• Follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Assist in all other areas of the service department as needed.
• Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience (desired).
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in English; work well with the public.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with arms and legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including low and high temperatures, precipitation, wind, noisy environments, and enclosed spaces.
• Adjust, move, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in tight and confined spaces.
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
