Retail Manager

The goal of the Retail Manager is to enhance the customer experience at the dispensary and drive sales while promoting a positive work environment geared towards growth and development.

As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the retail level which includes: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, operations, cash handling, inventory and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership skills to develop the customer service skills of your staff and in turn enhance and expand strong relationships with clientele and vendors to increase sales.

Job responsibilities:

• Hire & train a passionate staff through mentorship and development.
• Improve processes to promote growth of the company.
• Create a competitive sales advantage campaigns based on the thrend in the market place in proximity to the location
• Use of software tracking systems.
• Oversee inventory and vendor relations.
• Cash handling.
• Handle customer and employee concerns.
• Familiarity with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Help maintain the facility to ensure overall cleanliness and customer appeal.
• Create an inviting environment to gain new customers and increase returning clientele.
• Provide support with multiple employee initiatives and team building.
• Create systems for a smooth running store that promotes the brand's mission and upholds regulations.

Required Skills

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume retail cannabis sales environment
• Proven track record of imlplenting and maintaining SOPs, customer interaction programs, and marketing campaigns etc...

Desired Skills

• 5 years retail management and cannabis compliance experience required
• Experience maintaining retail inventory and related POS systems along with ancillary equipment, receipt/label printers, CATMS, routers, firewalls, surviellance systems etc...
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Sheets required;
• Proficiency in additional reporting tools ie... Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, Tableau, Power BI etc... is a plus
