As a Security Guard Flex Mobile Patrol Driver in El Dorado, KS

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first approach, using clear communication and teamwork to support operations across the site.

This role includes a driving post with a set shift schedule (details listed with recruiting).
- Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical processing location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, pipelines, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, helping to identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and control entry for authorized personnel and/or deliveries by verifying credentials, logging arrivals and departures, and directing traffic in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting alarms, spills, fires, medical events, and/or suspicious activity to site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
- Complete detailed reports and required documentation, including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
- A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
