• Disassembles and assembles fittings on tank cars.
• Tests tank car, fittings, and valves to reveal possible defects.
• Rebuilds tank car fittings, valves and tests them using specified methods.
• Identifies leaks in coils for repair using specified procedures.
• Conducts single car brake test when required.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner and reports potential hazards.

• Moderate to heavy lifting.
• Climbing, ascending, or descending ladders.
• Lifting and carrying of tools and equipment up to 60‑65 lbs.
