  Allied Health Adjunct Clinical Instructor
• Job Duties:
  
  Conduct training and assure the competency of students in a clinical setting and teach clinical skills at area long term care facilities associated with Butler’s CNA and CMA courses. This is a part-time faculty position as a clinical adjunct instructor.

• Salary:
  Commensurate with education and experience. $830 per credit hour (equivalent to $34-$50/hr., depending on contract type).

• Required knowledge and skills:
  Knowledge of CNA / CMA and KDADs course content and computer literacy. Personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred.
• Required experience:
  
  A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing experience (at least one year in long term care).
  
  Preferred experience:
  
  experience as a teacher within a nursing-related program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
• Required educational background: A current license to practice nursing in the state of Kansas. Education at least one level above nursing courses being taught (i.e., LPN for CNA / CMA courses).
  
  Preferred education:
  
  ADN or BSN.
