Overview
Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for a skilled, safety focused professional with verifiable driving experience and a Class A CDL to join our team as a Delivery Driver
. This position is local and will enjoy being home nightly.

About the PositionOur Delivery Drivers are responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading various types of construction and rental equipment to and from our branch locations and customer sites.
In this role, you will:
- Load, Secure, Transport, and Unload various types of material handling equipment with safety and compliance as your top priority.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring all essential components are operational and proper load securement guidelines, which strictly follow DOT requirements, are met
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members in a professional and prompt manner - sharing relevant information and reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain professionalism and attentiveness at all times
- Maintain a safe driving record at all times

- Valid Class A CDL Driver's license
- 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Safe driving record
- Ability to secure loads safely and securely
- Prior experience operating various types of construction equipment
- Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety Regulations/DOT Guidelines
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school education or equivalent
RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE
:
Truck Driver, CDL-A Driver, OTR Driver, Flatbed Driver
- This position will be outdoors traveling to numerous customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply.
- Will continuously be required to talk and hear; constantly required to sit, regularly required to stand, bend, squat and walk, frequently required to climb and crawl.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 128 lbs.
