Job Duties:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Patient Educator to join our team at the El Dorado Family Medicine Clinic. This role focuses on promoting screenings, early identification, and clinical navigation for the health and development of children from prenatal through five years of age. The Nurse Patient Educator will be responsible for conducting educational sessions with families to provide information on child health and development.
They will also coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate appropriate screenings and follow-up care. Additionally, the role involves developing educational materials and resources to support families in understanding and managing their children s health needs. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate s Degree in Nursing plus seven (7) years of experience as an educator/instructor or RN OR BSN in Nursing plus five (5) years of experience as an educator/instructor or RN with at least one (1) year of experience in a clinical environment.
- Valid Arkansas Registered Nursing license.
- Current BLS certification OR must successfully obtain certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
- Valid AR drivers license required, with current automobile insurance and reliable car for moderate travel to LR occasionally and to surrounding communities (mileage reimbursed at the current state mileage reimbursement rate) if a state vehicle is not available. Occasional out-of-state travel.
- A personal working cell phone is required.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
