Building Principal

Per Negotiated Agreement Salary Schedule, commensurate with degree and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and certification by the Kansas State Board of Education
• Health and Inoculation Certificate on file
• Demonstrates excellence in teaching and instructional strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Requires prolonged sitting or standing, and use of equipment including repetitive motions and
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, intense work environment
• Must occasionally work in noisy and crowded environments, with numerous interruptions

• Plans individual and group curriculum/instruction
• Teaches/facilitates learning using various instructional methods
• Creates and sustains an environment that enhances learning
• Completes grading, record keeping, and reporting
• Encourages communication with parents
• Prepares activities that involve the public

• Deliver comprehensive elementary education
• Foster student growth in multiple domains
• Engage with parents and community for student success
