JOB: Accounts Payable
LOCATION: El Dorado, AR
Systems is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk ready to hit the ground running in El Dorado, Arkansas. This is a full-time position. We are also looking for someone who wants to be part of the big picture and contribute to the long‑term strategy of our operations across the country. Our Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for multi‑company AP duties in a fast‑paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities- Ensures proper entry of invoices, expense reports, check requests, etc. into accounting/financial system.
- Handles vendor correspondence via phone or email.
- Prepares batch runs, wire transfers and ACH transactions.
- Assists with monthly status reports and closings.
- Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions.
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status.
- Accounting degree or 3‑5 years of Accounts Payable experience, or a combination of the two.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Experience with enterprise‑level accounting systems including GL, AP and AR.
- Must be organized, detail‑oriented, and have a high level of accuracy.
- Must have time‑management skills and be self‑motivated.
- Must have strong communication skills, dealing with internal and external customers.
