Overview

Stege Sanitary District is seeking a District Manager
. This position is appointed by and reports to the Board of Directors. The District Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and administering all technical, financial, and legal aspects of the District, implementing and reporting to the Board on goals, objectives, policies, budgets, procedures, and work standards. The District Manager also provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the District's departments.

• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Planning, assigning, and directing work
• Appraising performance
• Rewarding and counseling employees
• Addressing complaints
• Resolving problems

• Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience, preferably in civil engineering specializing in the water or waste‑water field
• Five years of supervisory experience
• Budget development expertise
• Knowledge of collection system operation principles
• Financial management skills
• Familiarity with laws and regulations governing the administration of sanitary districts
