• Assist clients with decision‑making, productivity, and participation in daily activities; facilitate inclusion in community experiences; promote independence while accommodating intellectual and physical disabilities; assist with meals, cooking, household maintenance, grooming, and dressing as assigned.
• Implement individualized training and support programs; maintain positive communications and relationships with supervisors, clients, landlords, employers, family members, the Regional Center, the Department of Rehabilitation (D.O.R.), and other community stakeholders; participate in client evaluations through task analysis and assessment tools.
• Document required activity records, reports, incidents, and client evaluations promptly and accurately; provide positive advocacy when a client’s preferences or needs are overlooked; oversee client activities and environment throughout the shift to ensure health and safety; provide direct services as required.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Aptitude for confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and good interpersonal skills.
• Certification in an approved First‑Aid and CPR class, or successful completion within 45 days of hire.
• Insured, registered vehicle in safe working condition, and proof of a current California driver’s license.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Physical evaluations may be required; may include a TB test and/or lift and transfer test.
• Transport clients to appointments, community activities, or other locations as needed; ensure safety and timeliness during travel.
• Acceptable DMV record.
