Responsibilities- Safety:
Photocopying and maintaining inventory of forms, packets, supplies, including PPE. Act as local Safety Officer and member of the Adjoin Safety Committee. Track and facilitate required safety training and certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR). Complete safety orientation training for new hires. - Community:
Facilitate client inclusion in positive community experiences. Maintain positive communications with supervisor, clients, landlords, employers, families, Regional Center, D.O.R., and others. Transport clients to appointments and activities, ensuring safety and timeliness. - Management:
Scan, upload, organize, and file documentation. Manage petty cash and track purchases/receipts. Oversee safety matters in the office (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, safety supplies). - Maintenance:
Promote independence in daily activities, assist with meals, cooking, housekeeping, grooming, and dressing. Maintain safety documents and postings. Oversee maintenance of office equipment and inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture. - Training:
Implement individual training and support programs. Address challenging behaviors proactively and respectfully per plans and training. - Planning:
Plan and conduct monthly safety meetings; plan and track safety drills. - Teamwork:
Participate in Safety Committee meetings and internal/external office inspections. - Analysis/Environment/Quality Assurance:
Participate in client evaluations, supervise environment health and safety, and engage in Quality Assurance activities per schedule. - Onboarding:
Assist with pre-hire and onboarding processes as needed.
- Experience:
18 years of age or older. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check. - License/Certification:
Insured, registered vehicle in safe condition; CA driver’s license. Certification in First Aid and CPR (or complete within 45 days of hire). - Scheduling:
Schedule may be part or full time depending on client needs. Overtime may be required with prior approval. - Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Compliance/Organization:
Physical evaluations may be required; confidentiality and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. - Mobile:
Must have a mobile smart device; reasonable reimbursement provided for essential functions. - Travel:
Ability to travel within counties served, minimum 75% of the time.
