Typical Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime Eligible). Pay Range: $35.50 - $40 per hour, dependent on experience, and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus.

1360 Magnolia Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020.

• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment, including checking fluid levels, changing fluids, and lubrication.
• Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
• Diagnose issues with electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and drive train systems; troubleshoot and perform major and minor repairs.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals; support fellow technicians as needed.

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or rental background required.
• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines (including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems).
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains.
• Must have the necessary tools to do the job; averaging $10,000+ in value.
• Experience working on industrial pumps, power equipment, and HVAC is a plus.
• TWIC or Safety Council OSHA Basic Plus certification preferred; will need to obtain if not held.
• Basic computer knowledge for service work orders, parts ordering, and service-related tasks.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records on maintenance and repair activities, including warranty records.
