Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Machinist
Spearhead Growth as Company Expands to 2nd Shift | Hands on Role El Cajon, CA 2nd shift position

- Review customer RFQ and provide accurate, timely quote responses
- Develop machining processes
- Program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype work
- Edit programs at the machine
- Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications
- Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions
- Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc
- Perform daily maintenance of machines and/or troubleshooting
- Ensure safety and ISO
9001/AS9100 standards
- High school diploma or technical certificate in machining/manufacturing
- 10+ years previous experience in operating CNC lathe and mill machines
- G & M Code experrience
- CNC Programming experience (SurfCAM is a plus!)
- Knowledge of safty protocaols and shop procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
