Assistant

Community Manager

The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for overseeing, under the supervision of the Community Manager, the everyday operations and financial functions of the housing community.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Financial Management:
    Post payments, reconcile account receivables, monitor bad debt, prepare late notices, bill utilities, end-of-month closing, maintain records.
  • Personnel Management:
    Screen, hire, train, coach staff; enforce policies; promote staff harmony; manage leasing techniques; implement marketing; resolve resident complaints; develop retention programs; show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
  • Administrative Management:
    Monitor service request turnaround; maintain property appearance; supervise operations; utilize property resources economically.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred; two years experience in the housing industry or one to two years related experience.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing or sitting for prolonged periods; repeat motions of wrists, hands, fingers.
  • Move about, ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding; work in confined spaces; lift objects up to 25 lbs; operate machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, golf carts; work overtime, weekends, night hours; endure hazardous chemicals.
Salary Range

$22 per hour to $24 per hour

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401K with employer matching, commission and performance bonuses, paid sick days and company holidays.
