We’re looking for a Level 2 IT Technician to join our growing MSP team. Come work with a great group of people in a fast-growing company where hard work is noticed, appreciated, and rewarded.

This role is a great fit for a technician who enjoys solving real-world problems, has solid Microsoft 365 experience, and takes ownership of issues from intake through resolution. You’ll work closely with dispatch, Level 1 techs, and senior engineers to support small and mid-sized business clients across the San Diego area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and resolve tickets assigned by dispatch from start to finish
  • Handle escalations from Level 1 technicians
  • Meet SLA targets and communicate clearly when blockers arise
  • Provide on-site and remote support for client environments
  • Accurately document all work in the PSA
  • Assist with small-to-medium IT projects (user onboarding, M365 changes, endpoint deployments, etc.)
  • Maintain and improve technical documentation and SOPs
  • Participate in on‑call rotation (occasional evenings/weekends as scheduled)
Required Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Entra /Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, One Drive)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, basic firewall concepts)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills
  • Proficient with Windows Desktop and Windows Server environments
  • Hands‑on experience with Hyper‑V
  • Backup and recovery fundamentals
  • Experience with MSP tools: RMM and PSA platforms (HaloPSA and/or Ninja One preferred)
  • Ability to perform both remote and on‑site support
Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required)
  • Experience with Sentinel One or similar EDR platforms
  • Experience with Uni Fi networking (switches, APs, gateways)
  • Experience with Intune / Endpoint Management
  • Familiarity with basic firewall changes (Meraki, Uni Fi, Forti Gate, etc.)
  • Experience with Egnyte
  • Mentor and support Level 1 technicians
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with proper documentation and troubleshooting context
  • Participate in team meetings, post‑incident reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to and help maintain the internal knowledge base
