Overview
MeBe is a provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs. To help you prepare for the role, MeBe offers one of the top ABA training programs using the Vincent Carbone method. MeBe Family will pair you with Supervisors to shadow, ask questions and guide you.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges. While there is no single best treatment for ASD, working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family is an important part of finding the right combination of treatment and services.
As a Behavior Technician
, you’ll:
- Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism in their home or at MeBe’s Learning Center clinic.
- Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to help increase the child’s communication, self-help, social and play skills.
- Relay information on progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.
- Accurately record behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach after each session.
- Clock in, submit session notes, and clock out to align with ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
- Help keep the workplace safe, organized, and well-maintained.
- Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing as needed.
- Assist with projects and tasks as directed by the Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.
- Voice questions and concerns to supervisors and contribute to treatment planning.
- Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Contribute positively to the MeBe Family culture.
- Consistent availability from Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts available.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- RBT/CBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
- Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run; see with prescription lenses; hear with hearing aids.
- First Aid and CPR training is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work with computers.
- If residing in CA, AZ, or VA, must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients.
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
- Industry benchmarked, competitive pay based on experience and location.
- Pay: $22-27 per hour, depending on experience and location.
- Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
