Quick Service Technician

Lexus El Cajon is seeking a full-time, experienced Quick Service Technician for their busy and growing Service Department. We're looking for a teammate who is punctual, team oriented, and eager to grow and learn!

Quick Service Technicians perform lubrication and general maintenance services on vehicles as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

• Performs oil changes as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Inspects and fills fluid levels as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Lubricates moving parts, injects grease into units, checks and adjusts air pressure of tires, and replaces oil and air filters in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Inspects vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Uses all hazardous chemicals in accordance to product labels and Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Adheres to all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and immediately reports any accident to management.
• Performs all duties in a professional, legal and ethical manner.

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate well with coworkers and customers.
• Must be able to understand oral and written directions and instructions in English.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of all facets of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Must be able to use manual and power hand tools and other machinery safely.
• Must be able to safely operate a vehicle lift.
• Must be able to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmission.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required training certification.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
