Staff Accountant

Overview

LHH is excited to partner with a dynamic and growing real estate firm to identify a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the financial operations of a multi-entity real estate portfolio.

• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and custom reports for management review.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide support during external audits.
• Work closely with property management and operations teams to resolve accounting issues and support business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with multiple platforms is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt in a high-volume, evolving environment.
