Job Description- Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform
- Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards
- Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products
- Be a productive member of the team
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and continuously enhance core platform services that enable and accelerate delivery teams across the organization.
- Develop scalable backend services and automation tooling using Type Script and Node.js (NestJS).
- Design and implement Git Ops-driven environment provisioning leveraging CI/CD pipelines, ArgoCD, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Operate, scale, and evolve an AWS- and EKS-based cloud platform using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Integrate platform capabilities with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Netcracker, Storyblok, and internal APIs.
- Establish and enforce secure-by-default platform patterns, including identity, secrets management, networking, and compliance controls.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for distributed systems, cloud-native services, and container orchestration platforms.
- Improve platform reliability through monitoring, observability, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate closely with platform, cloud, SRE, and security teams within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
- Type Script (required)
- Node.js and NestJS for service development and platform APIs
- Bash and/or Python for automation (nice to have)
- React / Next.js for internal tools and dashboards
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Kubernetes with Amazon EKS
- Docker and container lifecycle management
- Helm for Kubernetes packaging and deployment
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (AWS and platform modules)
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectural principles
- Git Ops workflows using ArgoCD
- CI/CD pipeline design and automation (build, test, deploy)
- Environment provisioning and configuration management
- Developer Experience (DX) tooling and enablement
- Platform reliability, monitoring, and observability
- Secrets and configuration management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager)
- Distributed systems and microservices architectures
- REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with Salesforce, Netcracker, and Storyblok (nice to have)
- Working within complex enterprise system landscapes
- Zero-trust and least-privilege security models
- Secure coding and platform security best practices
- Identity, access, and secrets management
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js and NestJS
- Proven experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Git Ops ecosystems
- Operating and scaling workloads on AWS
- Experience working with enterprise-grade systems or large organizations
- Strong background in CI/CD, automation, and Dev Ops best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Solid understanding of algorithms, distributed systems, and system design
- Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable owning platform components end to end
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly collaborative mindset with a focus on reliability and developer productivity
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive technical feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills, pragmatism, and business awareness
- Ability to make sound technical decisions aligned with platform strategy
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Agile Scrum team environment
- Strong focus on platform engineering, Dev Ops automation, and developer experience
- Part of a large-scale, long-term web and portal transformation program
- Telecom domain with enterprise-grade systems and complex integrations
