Manufacturing engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a vital part of our team responsible for supporting, improving, and maintaining the production processes within our high-tech Manufacturing Department (Factory Best). This role is specifically situated in the MR Factory and will focus on both implementing essential projects and ensuring the smooth, continuous operation of running business. • Process Management & Documentation:
  Write and maintain comprehensive work instructions, monitor and maintain production devices and tooling, and effectively instruct production employees on processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Initiate structural solutions through amendments like Problem Reports (PR) and utilizing the 8D (Problem Solving methodology) framework.
• Escalation & Troubleshooting:
  Lead and manage escalations related to production issues and complaints, collaborating closely with Development and other key stakeholders.
• Yield & Performance Optimization:
  Collaborate with team leads, troubleshooters, and the Development team to ensure minimum disturbances and maximize production Yield.
• Change Control:
  Prepare for and introduce product changes into manufacturing processes via Life Cycle Management and Modify Launched Design procedures.
• Quality & Audits:
  Serve as a subject matter expert in internal and external audits and actively execute Process Validations.
• New Product Introduction (NPI) Support:
  Provide support to NPI projects, including performing preparation activities for trial/prototype production.

• Defect Analysis:
  Conduct Defect On Arrival (DEFOA) / Missing On Arrival (MOA) Root Cause Analysis and implement structural, preventative solutions.
• Data Analysis & Improvement:
  Analyze performance data using methodologies like Six-sigma and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Define and lead improvement projects for the assigned unit to boost efficiency, product quality, and test section performance (Green Belt preferred).
• Project Planning:
  Provide input and maintain the project planning for New Product Introductions.

• Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience:
    
    A minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Engineering within a high-tech industry.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Basic experience with OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology).
  • Quality Systems:
    Proven experience with quality management and quality systems.
    • Highly Desirable:
      Experience in the medical industry with knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, audits, FMEA, 8D, and SPC.
    • Preferred Tools:
      Experience with SAP (MES) and Windchill.
