UI​/UX Designer

At APS Group IT you will be part of a team with other highly skilled members and collaborate with our colleagues in other regions. You will participate in an innovative working environment on complex projects involving marketing technology for leading international corporate customers such as Albert Heijn, Philips, BBC, and the UK Government.

Your role
We are looking for a Junior/Mid-level UX/UI Designer to join our design team.

Your role will be to help shape our digital ecosystem by designing new and improved digital product experiences. As a team member, you will help spread a design culture by advocating for intuitive, user-friendly, and seamless experiences for our users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on a variety of projects, ensuring that our design values and vision are well understood and consistently practiced.
Your responsibilities
Design System:
Contribute to our in-house design system by designing, maintaining, and aligning all our design resources to follow a universal design style. A sharp eye for detail is required.
End-to-End UX Design:
Support the creation of user flows and journeys with the help of stakeholders, ensuring the entire process is well-defined and accurately mapped from start to finish.
Wire framing & Prototyping:
Create wireframes, prototypes (both high and low fidelity), and interactive mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas to developers and stakeholders.
User Research & Discovery:
Apply design research methodologies, including UX research, user interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing, to inform and refine design decisions.
Holistic Collaboration & Openness:
Be open to collaborating and discussing designs with professionals from diverse backgrounds, effectively communicating ideas and design decisions.
Adaptability & Flexibility:
Demonstrate the ability to take on multiple roles, including non-UX-related design tasks such as visual design, graphic design, and slide design, when needed.

Your profile
An HBO/WO diploma in product design, industrial design, interaction design, information technology, or another relevant field,
Junior/Mid-level designer (minimum of one year of work experience or relevant design internships),
Experience working with tools such as Figma, Protopie, and Miro,
Strong communication skills to advocate for and defend design ideas and decisions,
Ability to work independently and contribute your unique perspective to the team,
Knowledge of web technologies or the ability to read and write code is a huge plus.
