• Maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
• Clean and tidy all areas of the home; ensure each room is spotless and hygienic; clean interior windows; maintain outdoor patios, pathways and steps (sometimes using a jet washer).
• Handle laundry duties including washing, ironing and returning items to their appropriate places; manage wardrobes; mend clothes; arrange dry cleaning as needed.
• Assist with food preparation; tidy and organise the kitchen, pantry and wine room; ensure all appliances are clean and in good working order.
• Maintain the refrigerator and pantry; discard expired items; keep everything well-stocked and organised.
• Feed and walk the dogs when required; assist with watering plants and flower arranging.
• Manage deliveries; answer the door and phone; run errands; assist with special events such as dinner parties.
• Handle petty cash; liaise with tradesmen, suppliers and contractors; ensure security systems and alarms are maintained.
• Manage household cleaning supplies; arrange servicing of household appliances; notify employer immediately if any repairs are needed.
• Be punctual, reliable and able to follow directions as well as work independently.
• Work as part of a household team; be flexible and responsive to family needs; carry out other tasks as requested by the employer.

The position offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm with one Saturday required per month.

A self-contained flat provided for live-in candidates.

The salary is up to £40k gross per annum, depending on experience.
