Jobresponsibilities
Shift Details - 07:00 - 14:30, 14:00 - 21:30.
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Your duties include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognising and understanding clinical risk areas, and acting courteously towards residents and visitors while respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident. You will practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
- Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect at all times.
- Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalating identified risks in a timely manner.
- Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.

- Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Person Specification Qualifications- Experience is not required as Avery Healthcare offers a thorough induction and training programme.
