Residential Project Manager

Role Overview

proAV is a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships worldwide. Due to continued growth in the Residential & Hospitality sector, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the AV Systems Integration team to project manage client orders, including contract management, system design, and commissioning within budget and to customer satisfaction.

• Perform work on multiple projects within the budgeted cost and to the satisfaction of the client
• Liaison with other internal departments, clients and contractors
• Ensure that the H&S files are in place for your projects and that safe systems of work are put in place
• Design systems in terms of electronics, mechanics and optics to meet client needs, using proven technology and new solutions
• Understand the contractual requirements of your projects
• Ensure that technical and drawing information is available and correct to allow others to perform their works efficiently
• Physically set up elements of systems to prove the concept
• Handle financial management of projects, including invoicing and variations, to avoid financial exposure and ensure timely payment
• Liaise with suppliers to research product information and purchase components, ensuring best value for money
• Interface audio visual systems into client buildings, covering hardware and software interfaces
• Perform on-site commissioning, configuration and programming of our systems
• Represent the company at a senior level with professional conduct and presentation
• Develop expertise in a particular area of project work for knowledge sharing

• Good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio Visual Systems
• Organised and flexible, able to handle diverse tasks during the day
• Understanding of contracts and commercial processes

• Working knowledge of current AV systems, IT elements and installation (AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, video conferencing, KNX, Lutron, etc.)
• Technical knowledge of AV equipment, design concepts and solutions including IT and networks
• Understanding of client needs, environments and use

40 hours per week, 9 hours a day (including an hour unpaid break), 8.30 am – 5.30 pm, Monday‑Friday.
