Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Overview

Leidos is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer in Egg Harbor Township, NJ who will be part of a dynamic team working on the Federal Aviation Administration's Time-Based Flow Management (TBFM) System helping to advance our transition from a ground-based system of air traffic control to a satellite-based system of air traffic management.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

• Optimizing the experience for the flying public, Air Traffic Control, and the airline industry by improving the collaboration and decision‑making capabilities of flight controllers.
• Developing and executing test procedures to verify requirements.
• Integrating new hardware and software into the system baseline.
• Up‑leveling regression test procedures to check for new system behavior.
• Executing regression test procedures to evaluate system for regression of core capabilities.
• Developing scenarios.
• Writing, editing, executing, and debugging test productivity tools and other duties as assigned.
• Analyzing identified issues in conjunction with System Engineering and Software in regard to developing solutions.
• Providing in‑person Site LOE Support across the National Airspace System (NAS) in support of TBFM Tech Refresh deployment efforts.

• Bachelor's degree or Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
• Ability to conduct technical reviews with a government agency / customer.
• Ability to follow a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
• Experience in the use of UNIX and Linux operating systems.
• Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers.
• Previous experience with TBFM.

• The successful candidate will possess advanced integration skills and the ability to work independently in the following categories of integration:
  • New system functionality integration
  • PR verification
  • Regression testing
  • Data Reduction & Analysis
  • Analyzing identified issues and helping to determine a solution with System Engineering and Software Engineering
  • Problem Determination
• A good academic understanding and/or exposure to system engineering practices to contribute to and/or assist with system integration, requirements engineering, operational and decision analysis, systems definition, requirements baseline control and management.
• Highly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast‑paced and highly productive work environment.
• Ability to script using Python, Perl and/or MATLAB.
• Experience with running/debugging Virtual Machines.

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $
