Introduction
The role of the Restaurant Busser/Server Assistant is to assist and aid in all points of service.
Responsibilities- MUST BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY/SATURDAY
- Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
- Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
- Confirm schedule with manager on duty one week in advance.
- Be knowledgeable of products, special instructions, and assignments given by manager.
- Wear proper uniform: clean and pressed black pants, Renault shirt, polished black shoes; no sneakers or spandex.
- Retrieve and stock all necessary items needed for service or event before, during, and after scheduled shift, anticipating immediate needs and maintaining running side work.
- Collect and return linen to assigned drop off.
- Keep storage area and service areas neat, clean, and stocked at all times.
- Serve water, coffee, bread, butter, remove soiled wares from tables and reset to specific room standards.
- Take initiative knowing general menu, daily features, promotions and communicate overall property-wide knowledge of events and locations to guests.
- Be courteous, friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic toward all guests and teams; keep conversation in good taste.
- Show sense of urgency and preparedness; be swift, insistent, and persistent.
- Return all soiled items to kitchen area, stack and remove all debris from plates, bowls, glassware etc.
- Assist server and kitchen staff by running food to appropriate tables.
