As part of this bold initiative, our Gastroenterology Division is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated and collaborative Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) to join our GI team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, team-based environment alongside GI physicians, hospitalists, and other specialists focused on delivering excellent patient care through both inpatient and outpatient services.
Aboutthe Role
As an APN in Gastroenterology, you will:
- Provide comprehensive GI care in collaboration with attending gastroenterologists
- Manage and coordinate care for patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders
- Participate in hospital-based rounding, consults, and outpatient clinic visits
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Support GI procedures, follow-up care, and patient education
- Participate in quality initiatives aligned with Vision 2030 goals
- Patient-Centered Excellence – Deliver personalized, empathetic care to diverse populations
- Innovation & Technology – Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic and digital health tools
- Collaborative Care Models – Partner with Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center and Drexel University
- Research & Education – Engage in continuing education, mentorship, and evidence-based care
- Community Engagement – Expand GI care access to underserved communities
- Workforce Development – Join a team that nurtures your growth and clinical leadership
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
- Current New Jersey APN license or eligibility
- Certification in Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner specialty
- Experience in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
