D Lines Inc. is a transportation company multiple locations. We're hiring Class A CDL Driver for OTR, Local, and Regional routes. Tanker and Haz-Mat endorsement REQUIRED (or a willingness to obtain endorsement quickly). Applicants must have 2 years verifiable experience and a clean motor vehicle record. Frequent overnights required.
This position is open to Owner Operators and Company Drivers
Responsibilities- Safely operate a commercial truck to make timely deliveries of products, including Anhydrous Ammonia, Propane, Liquid Asphalt, Bio-Fuels, Renewable Fuels, Liquid Fertilizer, and various Agriculture Commodities to specified destinations.
- Operate company vehicles/equipment in a safe manor and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Knowledge of operating hydraulic and specialized equipment is a plus, but we will train
- Assist customers with loading and unloading of products
- Maintain organized documentation required by federal, state, and local laws
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Effectively communicate with customers, dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, transportation, and delivery
- Flexible Schedule with willingness and availability to stay overnight in truck
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with Class X endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with various types of trucks, including tankers and tractor-trailers
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
